Pumpkins and Halloween in general are very big in America, so I decided to make a whole blog page about them. I had uploaded all my pumpkin pictures and saved the blog ready to publish....unfortunately it is almost Halloween now, and I had not uploaded the pictures of homes decorated with spiders etc etc which I was going to add. (This will have to wait due to the Wifi difficulties where we are now). I am publishing this incomplete as it is already almost Halloween, and will add those pictures at a later date.

Here are some pictures taken at a 'pick your own pumpkin' event which we came across while driving down route 1. The farm field had been opened up for a fun family day and there was lots to see....special pumpkin barrows to pick your own, hay bales to climb and used as display shelves, ghost and witch shapes to have your picture taken behind, pumpkin lanternmaking work shop, pumpkins of all colours and shapes and sizes....

Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween to you both. Don't think I have ever seen so many pumpkins in one place! As you say, pumpkins are big in America. Best wishes, Barbara.
