Well we went out for a three day hike on the Pacific Crest hiking trail from the road crossing on Kelso valley road to Walker pass camp ground a 36 mile hike. We did this hike in a day and a half but ended up hiking back since we had no cell phone service for a ride and the snow pack was getting deeper and more regular so we did not want to hike much closer to the high sierra. We did not hike all the way back we hiked to bird spring pass 20 miles back and down to Kelso Valley road and some really nice women let us use her phone. And got a ride back to Lake Isabella, Ca where my Grandfather lives. We ended up having really nice weather for the three days. Only ran into one set of hikers on the third day.
