After our previous night of not sleeping, we accumulated a good 15 hours each. So, unlike the being loopy from lack of, we were loopy from too much sleep! It was onto the Sequoia National Park. Wow, the redwoods are huge!! There were trees you can walk through, trees you can sit in, lay in, or as Jordan thought about doing, eat lunch in. Deer and chip monks roamed the park, and big fat squirrels enjoyed climbing up the redwoods. While hiking through the Park, we soon realized it was important to keep an eye on the sky. We figured out that when the wind starts blowing the pine cones and huge limbs start falling..... one actually was so loud it sounded like a gun going off. Creepy!! At the end one the trail we witnessed a near accident...a lady was just 3 feet from getting clocked in the head by a pine cone. Oh, and these aren't any old pine cones. They are like 2 feet long. The end of the evening consisted of the HOT TUB!!!!
