The last entry was saved but not published so is a little outdated. Sorry for any confusion.

We are actually in California, the Americans allowed us back in and were seemingly more concerned with fruit smuggling than our intentions to commit espionage.

We have already covered quite a lot of ground. Coming down from Seattle, through Washington and onto Idaho. We spent several days in the beautifully scenic Hells canyon recreation area. Staying in a little backwater town called Riggins, where we managed to get very drunk in a bar for under fifteen pounds whilst watching the ultimate fighting championship.

We then went onto Oregon driving through the most scenic hills and valleys for days. We stayed Near Bend in Oregon which is part of yet another national park, here we camped for a few days. The camping was much more successful than the last attempt and we even managed some fishing (not so successful) and to gain quite a following of Chipmunks.

We left San Franscisco a few days ago, stopping off at Monteray yesterday and we are now en route to Saquoia national Park and Kings Canyon.

Ron's beard is doing well and making steady progress.

loving the beard! you both look very happy on the pics and i trust still having a great time. lets hope nester don't go sick and lame if you cross death valley...the beard won't save you then ronaldo!!

Funny thats not the first tree Ron's ever driven through? Odd?.........and that beard is coming in nicely.....when he hits puberty it should shoot right up!
