What an absolutely beautiful day in S.F! The sun was shining and everyone was outside soaking it up . After a nice breakfast Mom and I went exploring before we met up with our tour at 11:30. We poked around in a few chocolate shops and places along fishermans wharf on our way to the ferry landing where we would be meeting up with the tour. It felt great to sit on a bench and bask in the sun while looking out over the serene waters of the S.F bay. Soon enough we were underway with our 5 hour tour of S.F where we saw so many great things. So as not to bore you I will give you the highlights, some of which weren't even supposed to be on the tour!
First we drove by a few sights, including the Golden Gate Bridge, and then went to have lunch in Saucilito. Wow it is beautiful there! The little eateries are so unique and there was this guy who balances rocks on top of one another. He finds the exact center of balance of each rock and it is amazing to see rocks that look like they will fall over any
second but they dont because the towers are so steady. (sadly I did not get a picture of this) This man had talent! After lunch we went on to see such places as Lombard street, which is known as being the most crooked street, but well it's also beautiful! It is amazing to see all of the cars wind their way down this steep and windy street. We had the chance to walk down it and it was incredible how steep the street really was. Along our travels the tour guide pointed out this man carrying some branches and he told us that this gentleman hides himself behind the branches and then jumps out and scares unsuspecting people walking down the street. (we actually saw this guy on our way to dinner tonight and I have a video of him doing it) (I will post as soon as I can). We learned so much about the history of S.F, such as during the gold rush, when people would sail to CA to look for gold and hopefully strike it rich, but everyone would get off the boat, even the sailors! So there wasn't any one to sail the ship back.
Sea Lions
Sea Lions just basking in the sun at the Pier There were tons of abandoned ships at this time. During the prep for the world fair they filled in a lot of marsh land in S.F, so where ever it's flat that's what used to be under water, and in the process they filled in over these abandoned ships (Our tour guide pointed out a hotel where they know that a ship is undrneath it).
One of the best parts of the tour was when we got off the bus to look at the houses that were filmed for the credits of Full House, we were right next to one of the many beautiful parks that the city has and there was a party going on and they had happy birthday banners and the people of the party asked every one to join in and they only. Qualification was to have a birthday and it didn't have to be today 😊 I thought it was wonderful! The people here are so nice and the food is so crisp and organic it's so refreshing. Overall the tour was wonderful and we had a great time and learned a lot. For dinner we went to a close restaurant in the Fishermans
Wharf and had Dungeoness crab, what a great meal (pictures of the tour and dinner to come soon). Well its off to bed after a great first day in the city. Tomorrow we head out to Napa valley for our wineries tour! Till next time!

sounds great!
Wow that sounds beautiful over there! I wish Marcus and I could have seen S.F. when we visited California a few years ago. I know it is pretty scenic in that area! Oh, and of course I am excited for you to have seen the Full House house haha. :) Glad to hear that you are having a good time! Take lots and lots of pics!!!
