Busy, busy, busy with all the preparations necessary for a long trip. Making lists of things to do that get longer by the day with very few items getting crossed off it seems. Lots of things to get done both at home and at work so we don't have anything to worry about (hopefully) on vacation.
We hope to post news and pictures daily starting on our departure date of November 5th--partly so family and friends can follow along on our adventures and partly so we have a better record of where we went, who we met, what we saw and how we reacted to the events of each day in Australia.

Did the old man spring for an ipad for you.
I think it should be at the top of the list for you so you can keep up with the daily blogs. UCSD bookstore - 16GB WiFi. with card reader attachment. Just my 2 cents (only need 499.98 dollars more). And yeah - I am the first to comment.
