After we left Yosemite, we drove to Bakersfield and stayed there overnight before driving down through LA to San Diego. We got up early in the morning and went to Sea World. We saw Shamu and some other really cool killer whales. Before the show some people brought two dogs up to the window to see the Killer Whales. The whales just stared at the dogs as the trainer tried to gain their attention. He got real mad and we got it on video.

We also saw a sea lion and otter show which was cool. We went on some rides. One of them was called Shipwreck Rapids and we got absolutely SOAKED! I also went on a water slide / roller coaster called Journey to Atlantis. You got up and then really, really drop 15m into the water and then you get taken up in an elevator and do the roller coaster bit.

The next day we went to San Diego Zoo. There were heaps of really cool monkeys. Dad and I are now official monkeys. Later in the day we drove to Anaheim for our week of theme parks.
