After driving for 1 1/2 hours but at a good speed with minimal traffic jams, we crossed through Berkley, Oakland, and San Francisco to get to San Bruno. The hotel is at the edge of an old downtown distric of San Bruno. The area around the place is a little run down, but the hotel itself ois very clean and safe. Even though we face the street, we hear no noise. After settling in on the the 2nd floor, I went across the street to the liquor store to get Naomi some tea and me some orange juice. The older Hindu man behind the counter chatted with me a bit. Then I met a family from Potland in the hotel lobby while grabbing all the brochures on places to see in SF. Naomi worked on her costume and on her lap top most of the night. We are sleeping in tomorrow and then off to Colma and SF for the day.
