I have a long sad story to tell~~We had tour day, and I took beautiful (although mostly brown!) pictures. BUT, I got a new photo program. Everything was going well with it, but then I opened the program. Things went downhill from there. It ate my photos, and won't spit them back up. You'll not be seeing any tour day photos! We’ve almost finished a week here, and while I probably wouldn’t choose the desert to put down my roots, it is growing on me! The camp is centered around a farm theme…they can have farm animals, hay rides, horseback riding, etc. This is on a more rustic side, with most activities outside. They work with a very limited staff, so they really rely on volunteer help. (But so did the other projects, it's just that Victory's needs are different. Boy, that cleared it up, didn't it?!) As we were getting our camp tour, Paul (the camp director~~a different Paul than Paul and Germaine) kept pointing out the projects that RVICS had done in the past. Paul and Germaine, and Nancy and Earl have been here on other years. We’re 85 miles southeast of LA, and 80 miles northeast of San Diego. Our address is says Moreno Valley, but ... read more
