Disneyland 2009 018
Kynan in the bus on my lap Today we tackled Disneyland for Day 2, we were greeted with beautiful sunshine (the first we have seen in the States), we packed prepared for the weather to turn bad, but thankfully it was the best day yet!
The first thing to do on our list - Complete Toon Town - we were lucky enough to meet both Mickey and Minnie as well as other cool characters! It was great to walk through their mini mouse houses! We took pictures in the cars and doing other crazy stuff. We even managed to fit in another ride on “it’s a small world” as well as having a go on Alice in wonderland’s ride, the tea cups and the circus train. We could not complete as many rides today as there were heaps of people - I guess the rain was our friend yesterday - we seemed to be able to do heaps!
The best part of the day was definitely watching the parade - it was awesome! Kynan was a little restless waiting for the festivities to begin. Probably did not help that the little sausage was evading his nap time. No sleep for me mum and dad! Too much going

Kynan's new stroller - he loves it. on, it was very exciting! He was squealing with delight at some of the characters - he picked out his favourite - Buzz! Guess he really did enjoy that ride!
We made sure that we checked out a few shops - scored for each of us the customary Disney tee. Kynan’s shirt say's my first visit to Disneyland - very cute.
After the parade we headed over to California Adventure Park. Unfortunately we were only completed two attractions as Kynan became so overtired he was feeling sick - due to not having a sleep during the day - we think he is still functioning partly on Aussie time.
One of the rides that we did manage to do with him was the Monster Inc attractions. At the end of the ride was the old dear monster with red lippy (I can’t remember her name!) They must have had a real person voicing her as when we parked the” car” the character said “hey you guys in the third row - yeah you! What a cute baby you have!” The people in front looked at us - it was one of those moments where you think are they talking
to you? Nah, can’t be it’s a puppet! Haha, I guess it just goes to show there are showies behind the scenes!
Tonight we rest. Tomorrow is going to be a big one too! We visit the San Diego Zoo. One of the biggest Zoo’s in America.
