Disney Castle
The original. For the last 5 days, I have been in Disneyland. I had the best time ever. We arrived at night. It took us a while to get from the airport to our hotel, but we got there, and just in time. When we went into our hotel room, we heard a loud BANG! We rushed outside. We saw the beautiful Disney fireworks. It was an amazing sight.
The next day, we bought a 5 day pass for each of us and walked down to Disneyland. As we entered, the first thing I noticed was how happy it was. Everybody was smiling. It was fantastic. On the first day, we went to Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. When we were in Tomorrowland, I told dad that we had to ride space mountain. We walked up, but it wasn’t working on that day. So we went on Star wars flight simulator. It was really fun because it felt like you were in space. But the only thing I thought that was bad about it was that Disney didn’t do Star wars, so it wasn’t as good as the other rides. We went into an electronical house. It was really fun. It had so many
The teacups
Whoa... I'm getting dizzy... futuristic things in it. My favourite room was the arcade. How many houses have their own arcade? It was awesome. Fantasyland was great. It didn’t exactly have any really huge rollercoastors, but it was great for families. It had nice rides. We rode a boat, and had a tour of all the fairy tales as we went along. We saw the house of Snow White, The palace of Princess Jasmine, and so many other Fairy tales. It was magical!
The next day we decided to go to Mickey’s Toon Town first. It was really cool! We went into Mickey Mouse’s house. It had his bed, and where Pluto slept. At the end, we saw Mickey Mouse himself! It was cool! We also went into Minnie’s house. It wasn’t as big as Mickey’s, but it was still really nice. We didn’t see Minnie at the end. There were some fun little rides in toon town, and I think I did them all. We went into Adventureland next. There was an Indiana Jones ride. Dad wanted me to go on it. I didn’t want to, mainly because there was one at Paris Disneyland that had heaps of corkscrews. When we were
Pooh Bear!
Winnie the pooh bear! in the line, we asked one of the workers if it was like that. He said no, it was more like a fun ride with bumps. I calmed down a bit after that. When I was actually on the ride, I was holding on the bar in front of me so tight that it felt like my hands would fall off. When the ride was over, I wondered what all the fuss was about. The best part was when a boulder was coming at you, than just in time we went under it. It was freaky! I told dad that he owed me a ride on Space Mountain. That’s what we did. It wasn’t as good as the one in Paris, but it was still awesome. Next, we went to Frontierland. We went on Big Thunder Mountain. It was cool because you were in a train and you went all over the place. I rode it twice. In New Orleans Square, we rode a Pirates of the Caribbean ride. It was really good. In Critter Country, we went on a Winnie the Pooh ride. It was a nice family ride. It was a wonderful day!
The next day was
Eeyore
The lady told us to check and see if his tails on. spent in California Park. It is right next to Disneyland, and follows with the Disney theme, but it is based on recent movies. The first ride we did was called Soarin’ over California. The queue was long, but the wait was worth it. You were in a seat, and it rose into the air. It had a huge screen in front of you. It showed places in California. When on the screen, you turned a corner, the seat moved so it felt like you were, well, Soaring over California! They sprayed smelling stuff so it made it more realistic. It was great. We went on a Grizzly River Rafting ride next. I got very wet. Luckily, it was a hot day. Next, we went on a Toy Story ride. The queue was about 3 times longer than Soarin’ over California, but the wait was worth it. You were given 3D glasses. You were in a little chair. It would go to a screen. You have a fake cannon in front of you. When you pull the string, it fires out a fake dart, bullet or water bomb. You can see it because of the 3D glasses. I would rate the
Donald Duck
Hello Donald! ride 9.99999 out of 10. The reason I’m not giving it the extra 0.00001 is because of the long wait. The ride after was the most fun, scary and awesome ride of my life. It’s call California Screamin’. Mum wasn’t sure whether to go on or not. When she had decided to go on, I said “Mum, I’ll come with you.” I tried not to think about it as we were waiting in the line. When I was in the roller coaster, I thought there’s no turning back now. It went down to the launching point. On the speaker, it said “ 5...4...3...2...1” One second the roller coaster was just staying there, the next second… Whoosh! It was speeding up the hill. It got to the very top, and than we were speeding down. No wonder they call it California Screamin’! Going up and down hills was the easy part, I was dreading the loop the loop! We were speeding to it. Then, up we went! I didn’t know what I was worrying about since it was only for a second. When the loop the loop was over, I shouted to Mum “ We’ve done it! The loop the loop’s
Pluto
Isn't he smart! He's a dog and he walks on 2 legs! over” when suddenly we were shooting downwards. In the photo, I look awful. When it was over, I was relived. The next ride… well, I’m not sure what to say about it. We were on a Ferris Wheel, and the compartment moved. It was freaky. The next thing we did wasn’t a ride, it was an art class. They taught us how to draw Donald Duck. It was brilliant. We went on a Monsters Inc. ride. It was good. To end the day, we went on Soarin’ over California again.
The next day was Thursday. Everybody that had a Magical Morning pass was allowed into Disneyland one hour before everybody else. We went on the Matterhorn bob sled ride. It was really fast. I went down a fake mountain. It was very enjoyable. We went back to California Park. I forced dad on California Screamin’. That time with the photo, I was smiling. We went to a bug’s land. We rode on every ride. One of the best was were you were in a caterpillar, and you went round all different foods. The watermelon was awesome. It was dripping with water, and it smelt cool. After a bugs land,
Mickey!
There he is! The one and only Micky Mouse! we went back to the drawing class. That time, they taught us how to draw Daisy Duck. We did a turtle talk with Crush. It was cool because he was on the TV screen and he talked to you. You could ask him questions. We went on Soarin’ over California again.
The next day was our last. We went to Disneyland. Dad and I went on Splash Mountain. It was cool. I was annoyed with dad because he said to the man “Can you put us in the front?” You get splashed the most in the front! After Splash mountain, Dad and I went in the Haunted Mansion. It was based on the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. It wasn’t scary. It was fun! We watched some of the very first Mickey Mouse shows. I saw Steam Boat Willy. It was funny. I bought a big plush Minnie Mouse. I also got a T-shirt. It was sad to leave Disney Land, but I might come back one day. It was sad to end the 6 month trip, but it will be exciting to go back home again.
