Tom's Place

Hi,
We met up with Tom and his brother Brain that was also visiting at the beach. They had just finished surfing and then Nick joined them. Tom's place is a block from the beach and because you are right on the water it was never higher than 80 degrees. Kim actually had to buy a zip up hoodie because she went out in a tank top and got cold at night...it was perfect weather for two New Englander's. As you can assume there were a lot of late nights and we ended up staying from Thursday till Wednesday as Tom was trying to convince us to move there and if Nick had found a job we probably would have never left.

So for 5 days and 6 nights we took in the sites and went to the beach to enjoy the water. The undertow was very strong and Kim could barely stand still, forget walk. She did go body surfing instead of trying to stand up as her ankle is still bothering her and she now has to wear a brace if there is a lot of walking.

We also went to a pet store that was just reptiles and it was crazy, there were anaconda's there. After that the four of us went to an Archery place and had instructions which were mostly focused on Kim and Brain as Tom did well and Nick made us all look bad( sorry forgot to take pictures).

Matt Vig also came up from San Diego to visit for one of the days. He also went surfing for the first time and was able to stand up on one of the waves!!

The last night we went to the House of Blues in Downtown Disney, where Tom works. (yes, Tom works at Disney Land) We saw Motor Head for free and had awesome seats.

PS- We had such a good we forgot to take a lot of pictures
