So let's face it, if you don't play golf, or if your golf bag have been rusting at home for most of 2007,
or if you are more lately into backpacking than checking the latest luxuries, this entry won't interest you.

After a great time in Orlando, it was time for my early morning flight to Phoenix, Arizona. I came here 4
days last year...and yes, Scottsdale is a true Mecca for golf...

So rent my usual Mustang...it never rains here, so great music and convertible are the perfect mix to move
around. Stayed at the Phoenician (14th on Conde Nast Traveller US resorts this year) with the usual nice
upgrade, but who cares, as I was there to play golf.

So nice hotel, the opportunity also to try the latest Asia de Cuba restaurant at the Mondrian in Scottsdale.
And ready to play 4 rounds of golf in just 2 days and a half.

I started with the desert and canyon course of the Phoenician. Impressive views, nice course, and the
opportunity to hit few shots after few days away from any golf.

Yesterday was a top golfing day. Play the TPC Stadium in the morning. They even provide a caddy. Ours,
Roger, was "just" a PGA pro...this is top-notch luxury in term of golf service...at a price I must admit.
They play each year the Phoenix Open on this course...so few good moments before heading to Grayhawk.

At Grayhawk, I play the Layton. Did it already last year, a great course in great condition.

This morning, it was back to North Troon, playing this time the Monument. This is one of the most
incredible lanscape to play in...on earth...just sad to admit that they have built way too many homes
around the golf course. But I enjoyed another great golf day.

So here I am at Phoenix airport, on my way back to home. No more golf...or at least great golf for the next
3 months, but that's not really important once you know my coming weeks.

So for today, Phoenix-LAX, LAX-Bangkok-Shanghai (with a bed between LAX and Bangkok)...back to home, back
to my great Leslie.

And for the next entry, well, Christmas is coming soon, with few more nice places to discover...or to
introduce to Leslie and Tiffany.

In the meatime, don't forget, you live only once, so enjoy...because I do! And for the next three weeks...
back to a little of "party time" in Shanghai!
