Bob's sister, Barb, got us an Air BNB about a mile away from her house, near LAX in Westschester portion of LA. She has a lovely home with a beautiful garden and two precious (really) rescue dogs, Blossom and Daisy. We met some of her great friends and spent time looking at old family photos in the afternoon, then went to dinner in Santa Monica with Barb's dear friend, Laurel, who is President & CEO of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce. It was a lovely evening, a beautiful sunset and great conversation, ending with a walk on their boardwalk. We were sad to leave, but not for long because we are heading to Phoenix, where it is raining of all things! There, we will see a large portion of the rest of Bob's family for a BBQ tonight. More tomorrow!
