As Time Goes By...

So its not been such a busy day today but an enjoyable one nevertheless. We have most of our travel details sorted now so we are off to Vegas Next week ans San Francisco at the end of the month.

As for the rest of the day, I was hoping to use the pool again but no such luck. As iI was outside, you could see large grey clouds on the horizon and by the time I reache the roof terrace here I could hear the thunder in the distance. After the initial dissappointment of bad weather I decided it would be quite cool to watch a storm here because they're meant to be amazing.

So we settled down outside but under shelter (Vicky, Mark, Aunty Linda and me) to watch the storm. It did actually start quite well and kicked up a mini tornado in the wash behind us (there is a proper name for it but i don't remember). We then got two huge falshes of lightning which I obviously failed to get onto my camera and then it attempted to rain but I have never seen a worse attempt at rain in my life! you didn't
All we saw
This is just about as violent as it got.even get wet if you stood under it. All in all it was a bit dissappointing but I did get a photo of a sandstorm we had outside Wal-mart. It was clear one second, the next we were running for the car and then everything went brown, even the sun got blocked out!

So that was my relaxing day in ( we did also watch the movie 'The Queen' which is very good). Will probably have more after Tucson at the weekend.
