Today was a much anticipated big day! We covered a vast and varied 232 miles including tree lined highways, the mountainous and very beautiful Brooks Ranges and finally miles and miles of tundra (where we saw two grizzly bears).

The road conditions also varied from perfect sealed roads to gravel (some of which had been watered by the water trucks to keep the dust down which consequently made it very slippery). Trev increased the height of our bike to assist with the handling in the mucky stuff.

Highlights today were seeing the bears and crossing Atigun Pass.

Prudhoe Bay. Stuck my hand in it but didn't quite have the courage to jump in!

The bridge is wooden and can be pretty slippery when wet.
