The Yukon River Ferry leisel here moms cleaning an inch of dust off everything in the bus and dads outside cleaning the car i couldn't wait for mom to catch up to tell y'all what happened today mom will catch you up on white horse and dawson city tomorrow she hopes i knew the day was different when they didn't attach the car and mom took me and chained me to the seat again we went past the little city and right to the edge of the water they were putting rvs and cars on a little bitty boat they called a ferry and floating them across the yukon i was scared to death mom and i went first connie was on our boat and dad and jim and spot in the buses one minute a lady is talking to me and the next I'm floating down the river when we got to the other side mom ran out with two cameras and started taking pictures of dad on the other side and getting on the boat they put dad and jim on the same boat and sure enough they came to our side and road right up on the dirt i couldn't believe my
eyes we followed them for awhile and then hooked up and started the drive i heard them talking about top of the world highway how much further up can we go there were no lines no rails barely enough room for two cars to pass each other dad would stop and let people pass us from the other direction hills were as far as the eye could see sometimes on both sides like we were on a tight rope then the bumping and pounding started we went up and down back and forth and around it took us 2 hours to go 65 miles and then there we were on top of the world one mile later and we crossed the border back in the good ol us of a another photo op we thought we had seen the worst of it but no the road was worse we could barely see the car in the camera mom talked about the hairpins and pot holes and dad about the washboard and soft shoulders we went around one turn and there it was a caribou ran the creek beside us for about a half mile all in all 5 hours to

Me looking out on the ferry go 108 miles but the most breathtaking views we've ever seen we are in chicken ak now they went panning for gold and found a few flakes and took a gold dredge tour i slept today wore me out
