Today's drive was quiet and peaceful compared to yesterday's drive. I actually did most of the during today so Joe could have a break. We saw a moose and a family of moose, but we were traveling too fast to get any good pictures of them. We stopped in Delta Junction and visited the monument that showed where the Alaskan Highway ends. All along the way we tried to get a good shot of Mt McKinley, but the clouds did not cooperate. We did make it to Fairbanks where there is so much to see and do. Actually we are 10 miles away from Fairbanks in North Pole, AK. We will sure be busy. We are going to an active gold mine and we are panning for gold so cross your fingers we get something big. LOL....
