A fairly short ride today of 325ks. The first stretch was very straight with not a lot to see but soon enough we had some bends, bridges and small villages.
We had a few stops to stretch and stopped for lunch at the City of North Pole. The town is true to it's name with candy cane stripes on the lamp posts and Christmas decorations everywhere. We went to Wendy's and inside was fully decorated; even the police car was decorated. Had a walk through Santa's house and had a photo on Santa's knee.
Next we just had a small ride to Fairbanks where we are staying for the next two nights before heading up the Dalton Highway.
