Mexico Dec 2008 Day 4: Playa del Carmen Beach

Today was a free day and our 3rd anniversary. We awoke late and breakfasted like kings at the buffet, then headed out to the Playa beach where I took a dip while Payal lazed about on the beach. We then headed into the famed 5th avenue of Playa del Carmen. This is a long street just off the beach, lined with souvenir shops, bars, dining and just full of life in the night.

We stumbled upon a massage place - Veronica's thats been written up on TripAdvisor. Massages were just $30 and we found it better than the $90 massages in the US. We got a couple's deep tissue massage and the masseurs were extremely talented. Slept well.
