Hiking way, way down and way up! And way down and way up....

Well, my feet may never be the same...I've counted about five blisters...but we had a fantastic time on the hikes. I do now know that my comfortable walking shoes are not good for hiking.... We left very early on Staurday morning, taking a taxi to the second class bus station, headed for Cuajimoloyas, and the start of the first day's hike. I was a primary teacher in a K-12 alternative school. In 2006, I took a leave for four months, travelling through Central America. I visited schools and studied Spanish along with being a tourist. My class followed my travels through this blog. The metal door was taken off after the embers were removed...she threw the herbal water into the oven behind the door. I lay on a sheet on the straw mat.

Cemetary

Needing more climbing we hiked up to the cemetary the next morning! This woman died at 108....

She is doing a picture on the rug...and has many colors going at once..it will take her a month to finish, and the rug will sell for $50.00 at the most.
