A current event taking place around the world today is gay marriage. Gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender couples are starting to fight for their rights to marriage and couple equality. Human rights that are being violated are the right to equality. I think this issue is worldwide and has grown into a bigger issue because it affects everyone. There is not enough being done yet. There should be peaceful protesting and they should not be discriminated against and should have equal rights as the citizens they are.
