Tok to Dawson City

We left Tok and travelled north again across the top of the world highway; a fantastic bit of riding. We were lucky with the weather which was stunning!

Stopped in at Chicken for a stretch and a look around. Visited Old Chicken and New Chicken. Both were great with lots of chicken themed art and paraphernalia. The jokes were particularly fowl!

We carried on up the highway which was thick with bloody motor homes; these were huge monstrosities which seemed ridiculous for the most likely two people they contained. We saw one shiny side down off the side of the road, they must have gotten to close.

We reached the Canadian border about 12.30 Canadian time and passed through with no fuss at all; easiest border crossing ever!

Checked into our awesome hotel in Dawson City which is an amazing old gold mining town with themed buildings etc. We had dinner at Jack Londons which had a very talented pianist who entertained us with great music.
