Day 1

Well, the big day has finally arrived and we are off to a .......grinding halt! We were doing quite well until we got to Toronto where we discovered that our 10 am departure had been put back to 1:30. Evidently someone over-wound the elastic band that drives the prop and a bit fell off something into the ventilation system. Yours truly had the bright idea of staying up all last night so that I would be able to sleep on the plane. Right now, I'm not sure how I am going to manage to get to 1:30. I just hope that it doesn't get put back any further.

Thunder Bay Airport - have to start the morning with a Timmie's! And here we are - smiling and happy because we don't yet know that our flight to Hongkong is going to be delayed by several hours...
