As you can see, on the side of the road. They looked at me, but ignored me mostly.
Left Sasquatch Crossing this morning at 9:45. After the first hour or so the roads cleared and the sky cleared and it was a great day.

I wrote this at the end of the day that day,

I had trouble getting out of my room again today and did not leave until 9:45. One hour earlier than the day before!! That is progress!

Tomorrow I expect to get on the road even earlier. No snow today or tonight! clear skies and mostly no snow on the roads. I went through a little snow on the road, but slowing down took me through with no problem. I had set a goal to get to Watson Lake before I left this morning and I made it!! I am proud of myself. Not only that, but I saw some wonderful wildlife as well. I saw a coyote or timber wolf this morning first thing (no camera at the ready). An hour or so later I saw two big horn sheep grazing on the roadway. Then this afternoon I saw bison at five different locations. The first three were small herds grazing on either side of the road, then I saw one

A mall herd of Bison on the right side of the road just walking the same direction as the traffic, ignoring us for sure.
bison just laying down waiting for the others to get to him. The last one was dead on the side of the road.

The last thing I saw was a red fox. He was stealthly following his prey, but I was going to fast to catch a picture of him.

Well, enough of that and back to now. My plans are to arrive in Skagway tomorrow!!

By inserting this from an email, you get my actual thoughts that day, since I am filling in the blanks now. Please take a look at the pictures. The pictures are not the best, but the animals were wonderful. I'll insert one picture that shows Dylan looking at the Bison on the side of the road. He was wide eyed for sure!

Dylan has never seen bison before. He was really excited. Right before I took this picture, he turned around and looked at me.

This picture shows bison on the left side of the road. You can probably see this is only a two lane road. It is the Alaskan highway.
