It was time to go to Quebec, city. We decided to go to Jacques Cartier Park, which is just half an hour north of Quebec. We drove down 10km of windy, almost one lane road to a walk in {350m} camp site, the last camp site in the park. The park sites are along a beautiful river through a valley in these wooded hills, almost mountains. So we have running water to lull us to sleep. It seems a crime, but we didn't stay in the park, and left for the city in the morning. We walked the outside promenade. We meandered up and down the little streets. We went for lunch at a creperie. It was a perfect day. We even bought a tourtière for supper on the fire. A bit exhausted from all the walking and then the camping, but worth every moment.
Good night and sweet dreams.

Had no idea the countryside was as spectacular. Quebec City looks like you've already arrived in Europe. How goes the French conversations? much love J and D
