It is the night before I leave Montreal... In less than 24 hours, I will be on a plane en route to Rome, where I will be for all of 12 hours before heading to Spain then Morocco. Absolute madness lies ahead...

Just said bye to the girls, who I will miss immensely, cannot believe the summer went by so fast. I expect a Cahier Canada full of stories mailed to me weekly while I am in Italy...

My bags are pretty much packed, and even though I am leaving for over 5 months and moving to Milan, the fashion capital of the world, I'm managing to only bring one suitcase and my backpack, a feat if I've ever met one. Who packs light when they have soccer players to meet???

This is the first posting of the many adventures that lie ahead...
