Major US holidays are a cause for celebration and since I spent Memorial Day shuffling between continents I figured that I would spend Labor Day away as well... so off to Canada I went.

Had lovely accommodations at Auberge Alternative in Vieux Montreal and spent my free time wandering Montreal.. I ended up in all types of places, Casino Montreal, Le Chalet in Mont Royal, Tam Tams, Le Village, Vieux Montreal of course... definitely want to go again.

If you end up there for a few days I would say get a touristique pass (3 days is $17CAD). Sunday is Tam Tams at Mont Royal.
