Day of rest

As we had a long 5 hour drive to Toronto from Montreal we dedicated today as a day of rest/ leisurely drive. We had decided to try and find a state park or a spot by the lake for a picnic so the hunt was on for a nice place to have it. After gathering some crisps, chocolate and Subway sandwich we set off.

The drive was pretty straightforward but around lunchtime we looked out for a spot to enjoy out earlier finds. We spotted an exit promising a national park but got impatient and spotted a public park on the lake shore. We enjoyed a brief rest and a bite to eat before getting back on the road again.

We continued our drive without any hiccups even negotiating our way through Toronto to our hotel. We were both rather tired so we decided to have an early night.
