Empire State Building
We had an audio tour from tony the NY cab driver!!! Well thats us in canada! we were sad to leave new york, especially the bagel place across the street!! in the end the hostel was quite good. The common area had big screen tv's and comfy chairs so when it was a bit warn for us we chilled out watching Hannibal!!! Paul got chatting to a guy from edinburgh who was in new york for another day and a half with only $13 to last him and he needed ten of those for transport to the airport! We went to the top of the empire state building, all the way to the 102nd floor! the view was amazing, although the protective glass was a bit dirty and had been graffited so that was a bit of a shame. On the last day we went to the Natural History Museum which we loved. The main hall had loads of animals all set up as if they were in their natural habitat, it was impressive. Paul was especially taken by the blue whale and the monkey he kept saying looked like carl! (sorry carl, blame paul!)
Toronto doesn't have as much to do as we thought so at the moment we're considering catching
Sunset View
The view from the 102nd floor the bus north a bit to ottowa or montreal, we haven't decided yet. We're heading to niagra falls on tuesday so we'll see how it goes up til then.
