Tomorrow marks two weeks on the road and we've taken a huge chunk out of the motherland. The first leg was one of the toughest, but we made short work of the Ol' Alaska Highway to land at Aunty Gwen's. We had a good visit in High Prairie with Gwen and all the critter cousins. Well rested and even more well fed, we headed south for New Year's in Big B-town. Dy's family humbly took us in and showed us a great time on the ranch, including an aerial tour, rig ride and, oh yes, sledding on Bassanos world reknowned tobogganing hill. We regretfully departed Alberta in 2007 for a few days with the Armstrong rellies - a pleasure, as always. Despite the busy schedules, a grand visit was squeezed in, with much wizarding at #9 Cherry Lane, a chance to see Grandma and another day kickin it with some cattle out at Kerri and Steve's. After a late start on the fourth, we made the Peg that night to drop in on some fellow sourdoughs, Will and Russ. Our stay in Manitoba was short but sweet, and we continued on across the never-ending province of Onterrible to St. Catherine's. We

made Rod and Jess' after our most treacherous 26 1/2 hour push and partied in style with the Brock crowd that Saturday night. See Rob for all explicit details. Yesterday we were treated to the sight of our great nation's great waterfall, the great Niagara Falls. It was great. Today, once Rob returns, we will make the brief drive to Toronto for more visiting and the much anticipated brandings. We also start the malaria medicating today. An east coast entry is in the mix before we fly next Monday!
