The Set-Up

Here's the tentative: Kon through to Hali via friends and rellies along the way. We fly Hali to Quito on Jan.17 and from Buenos Aires back to Hali on April 17th, to return to the north come spring. We're leaving in "The Rabbit," a 1990 Chev Wagon that we went splits on for $300 this summer. And yes, it's going to make it!

It's the wee hours of Boxing Day morning and Rob still isn't yet home from his last night out in the Horse. I've got packing left and our ETD of 4am is in two hours. We spent our last days signing off to the north with various Christmas normalities as well as the Third Annual Marsh Lake Polar Dip (courtesy of Craigens on the Lake) and a main street snowshoe streaking. Hopefully things liven up as we head south... but first east.
