Our final destination today is Halifax - pretty much an all day drive with a stop at the Alexander Graham Bell Museum in Baddeck.

Bell was a very interesting person with many interests and accomplishments.

His early work was working with the deaf and development of a visual alphabet using symbols to represent human sounds. He also worked with Helen Keller.

He experimented with genetics and was successful in breeding sheep which would produce twins most of the time.

He was well known for his work with the telephone and air flight. He also successfully developed hydrofoil watercraft.

A relative of a friend has a restaurant in Baddeck so we dropped by to say hello.

The weather today was mixed but not really a problem because we were in the car most of the day.
