We performed in Hamiota this morning, then rolled over to Hartney where we had another bed & breakfast lined up. Our accommodations are a delightful old family house which had been moved over to a farm to serve as guest quarters. It was loaded with every wonderful amenity we’d been missing in the motels. We grabbed some fresh supplies from the co-op grocer in town, with the intention of making a fine meal together. When we got back to the house we had a little bit of trouble working the taps, so we phoned over to the farmhouse for some assistance. Our hostess is none other than the cashier from the co-op! Roasted vegetables and sausage, a game of Balderdash, and a bottle of wine were exactly what we needed to complete the festivities.
