Sara and I went on a little day trip to Squamish before we headed up to Whistler. Squamish is one of the best places in the world to watch bald eagles as they feed on the salmon in the river there during the winter. We saw at least 15 eagles however apparently by January there will be 1200 of them feeding there! Definitely going back to check it out. The world record was actually 3766 bald eagles in 1994!
Was really nice to get out of Van for the day and Squamish was a nice little town to visit. The eagles were beautiful, as was the scenery.
Will post more photos when we go back in Jan.
