Memories!
So enjoyed your blog! We lived in Campbell River for 4 years & Victoria for 8. Loved both places! Still have 2 sons in CR & one in Vancouver.

Thanks Bob
Dear Bob, I do not appear to have ever replied or acknowledged your comments, which I appreciate. That was remiss of me and I apologize. By happenstance, my wife Jeanette came across your comments and read a lot about you both, finding you very interesting people, remarking that there are some similarities between us un choice of travel etc. I have not been writing in recent times and have had requests to resume from some people. I have been more focused on developing my Vlogging skills, since I love video. However, the truth is that I miss writing very much. I have been trying to imbed my videos into the blogs but cam up against a technical challenge that has prevented that. I have tried desperately to get help from a Travelblog administrator but a failure to do so has frustrated me beyond belief. Do you know of anyone inside Travelblog that may help? I am now investigating what other avenues I should pursue to be able to combine both the writing and videos and am looking at Blogger.com and Wix.com although I am at the rudimentary stage. I hope that you are continuing to travel and enjoy life despite the Covid challenge. We ourselves took a long overdue break in Puerto Morelos, Mexico and have published some videos about that much overdue and thoroughly enjoyable break. Best wishes to you. Roger

Floating homes near our site in Oak Bay, Victoria.

You guys look great and a lot younger than your age. Vancouver and its environs are especially beautiful. These floating homes are unique. Continue to enjoy

The Administrator of Travelblog is Ali Waters. He started the blog in 2004 to document his own travels. Soon he found that friends also wanted to use it for their travels, and it grew from there. He is still the only one who is developing and maintaining the site, while also having a full time job. He is presently working on a complete makeover that will resolve many of the problems. I do not want to bother him as I do not want to do anything that would result in him just giving up. For me, this is the only blog that meets 90% of my needs so I can wait. This is a non-commercial site which promotes travel businesses, so the few Moderators spend a lot of time deleting spammers. Being non-commercial it does not bring in a lot of revenue, so Ali's efforts are an act of love for the travel community. Hang in there!
