Vegetables from the Alaska state fair Dropped RV back at 11am. We got a good refund for the fridge breaking down..in fact a $300 refund! $75 inconvenience credit included In the refund. Gotta love "Cruise America", they sure look after their customers. No hesitation in recommending these guys. Staff are efficient and friendly and RV's in good condition.
Mileage at drop off was 2220 miles. Not bad for a 17 day road trip. Geoff Learnt how to manoeuvre that 30 footer so well! He could park it anywhere 😊
Check in with Air Canada went smooth. Must say we were quite impressed with this airline. Good size seats, modern aircraft andvery efficient staff. Once we arrived in Vancouver we got a taxi to our hotel in east Vancouver. It was a 30 minute taxi ride $50.
The Ramada hotel is fine for a 3 night stay. Manager very helpful and gave us lots of useful information about Vancouver. He recommended a local Chinese shop for dinner just 1 block away. Off we went to the Golden Lake Restaurant and just as the guy said the food was great and portion size was huge. We actually got a take away meal for 1 and both
