Vancouver Mountains
A view from the walking/biking trail following the Skytrain route.An uneventful trip from Bangkok to Vancouver. It has re-enforced my my belief that it is the most beautiful city in Canada, though I have no desire to live here again. The view from the plane as we came in for landing was spectacular with the bays, farmland, mountains and the mighty Fraser River as a backdrop.
We have spent 4 days here wandering the downtown. We discovered a walking/bike trail that follows the Skytrain from at least the Metrotown to Broadway Skytrain stations. A relief from walking the sidewalks along the main streets.
We leave today for Halifax and then on to Shelbourne tomorrow to pick up Tuck. It has been a wonderful trip, one of our most enjoyable.
