We left Cardston this morning, and I just want to tell a bit about going through Calgary. Calgary is a LARGE city, and traveling through it in a motor home doesn’t make it any smaller. I think the Calgary Stampeded starts this weekend, and just like in the states, they’re doing a lot of road construction right now: Lots of cars traveling fast + miles and miles to get through this huge city + road construction = the scariest time we’ve had so far. What we learned is that it’s worth the time to stop before you enter the city and see if there’s an alternate route. There was. We weren’t on it. But next time…
