Carnival Legend docked at King’s Wharf at the Royal Naval Dockyard early on Wednesday morning. Susan and watched the docking while having breakfast on the Lido Deck. A beautiful sunny morning. St. George Post Office

St. George Post Office. Built in 1622 and rebuilt in 1760. The building was the first jail in Bermuda. It has been a post office since 1852. 11 Water Street. Historic Town of St George and Related Fortifications, Bermuda, UNESCO World Heritage site. IMG_7317

Tucker House

Tucker House Museum. The Tucker House was constructed in the mid-18th century. It was purchased by Henry Tucker in 1775. (Henry's brother, St. George, went to Virginia, building the St. George Tucker House in Williamsburg.) 5 Water Street. I know next to nothing about Bermuda, so this was an interesting blog for me. However, given the one big thing 'Bermuda' is associated with, the fact that this was called 'Sinky Bay' made me chuckle :)

Hi, Thank you for your comment on my Bermuda blog! I have more detailed information about the communities of Hamilton and St. George, Bermuda, in my 2010 blog. Cruise ships are popular way of traveling there. Interestingly, Bermuda's air connections are primarily with the USA.
