Women in the United Arab Emirates did not have as many rights as we do now in the U.S. Some women get punished for crimes worse than men do. Most of their crimes consist of them going to prison even if it wasn't that bad. Women are not considered full persons before the law in all instances. They said that a women's criminal matter is only equal to half of a man's. Also Women are not allowed to enter the legal profession even if they studied law. This is because it would mix with men in courts and police stations. Overall, Women did not have equal rights.
