Late evening at Burg

We have just got back to our suite after meal in the Al Muntaha Restaurant on the 27th floor. Reached by panoramic express lift travelling at 6m per second- makes your ears pop.
Meal exquisite, Paul had 1/2 dozen oysters 2 natural , 2 cooked with hollandase sauce, 2 with champagne jelly. I had quail wrapped in vine leaves with couscous. Followed by- Paul seabass with asparagus and salmon mousse, I had halibut baked in hay with wild rice. We had 3 types of bread with french butter/ cream cheese with black truffle, or olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

We were too full for dessert so they brought us petit fours ...

Back to suite for more wine and watching TV and chill out.....
