Greetings from sunny, HOT, gorgeous, "very-different-than-India", Dubai!!!!!!! (and birthday greetings to my friend and editor, Linda Fletcher, in London!) We left our hotel yesterday morning in good time. This wouldn't have gone so smoothly without Brenda's expertise!
Big girls don't cry..........Big girls don't cry..........

but I sure do! Geez, only my kids realize what it took to get me in there with Carroll!
And now we're done.......And now we're done.......

We're out of the medical centre (behind Carroll), and on our way........bandaid and all!

The big chunk of white "stuff" was salt, I thought......but no, it's a deoderant "thing". Along with a bin of dry garlic, some charcoal "stuff" that they grind and use for mascara and eye liner, etc. etc. Very interesting.
And more interesting things......And more interesting things......
And more interesting things......

a loofah, the black one is like coal but is used for pumice stone purposes, etc. etc.

Thinking of all my "culinary" friends.......you would have loved this store.......I love the way they had the "oils" displayed.

Pat, Pat, Pat!
A no brainer: "Do-Buy"! Tell Jan B. I can't wait to see her new golf clothing purchased during this trip. The closest I have come to Dubai has been in watching the golf tournament out there and the features on its luxury especially one of the hotels for the rich and famous (Like you?). Now, by going onto the streets and into the markets, you have given another dimension of life out there. Wonder why their health care system is so efficient...probably linked to their very healthy economy. Keep happy.

Music to my ears!
Hi Joan, I can see that you are enjoying every minute of your trip (as it should be). I am glad that you took the decision of going on that trip and I hope you are taking a lot of pictures and bringing a lot of memories so you can give us a really wonderful and inspirational speech at one of our TM meetings. Miss you!!! :o>>
