I have watched a preview of a boy's life during the Armenian genocide. At the time, the boy, known as Richard Parseghian, was not aware of all of the things that was happening of the time. As all of the other children, he was skeptical of who to trust, and he was also wondering why the officials were rushing everyone. Many people did have have time to even pack cloths to take to their journey.

However, the does not end their. Richard Parseghain has witnessed his father be brutally pummeled by soldiers for an unjust reason. He was defenseless, feeble, and to small to do anything at the time; however, if he only had a gun he sworn to have shot those soldiers right on the spot. This topic, on the other hand, has got me thinking, why did not the people fight back at the time. There were many households with guns, and many did know what was going on. However, why did they choose to stay silent and let the soldiers prosecute their own kind.
