Kusadasi holds a weekly food market and we went there this morning. It was amazing with over 100 stalls run by traders and local farmers selling a wide range of fruit, vegetables and herbs, some of which we didn’t recognise, but it all seemed of excellent quality and very reasonably priced. The temptation was to buy more than we needed or could easily store in the van.
Six of us had an evening at a restaurant on the waterfront with an amusing waiter. We had our first Turkish kebabs which were of a much larger portion then we really needed.
