Di and my lovely bedroom at the B&B at the New Forest .
Hi. Following my blog from a couple of days ago we headed back up from the Cornish Coast and Plymouth, on to the New Forest and then back to Corsham. Pete, Helen, Alex and Georgie arrived back from their tour of the States so it was great to catch up with them and spend the next few days traveling around Wiltshire and the Bath area with Helen acting as our guide. Every little road seems to end up at a beautiful village or a historic site. In the New Forest we stayed at a beautiful B&B, a thatched cottage. With Helen we went to the Westbury White Horse which is about 400 years old, visited the World Heritage Site of the Avebury Stone circles and one evening Pete and Helen took us to the Gifford Circus which is a small circus with lots of happenings. Very good and a lot of laughs. We meet up with Pam and Warwicks friend Cheryl and her daughter Olivia and had dinner in Bath and they came to Dinner the next day at Pete and Helens. We drove down to see the Wells Cathedral which is beautiful and the history go's back to the 12th

century. I do love the English country side and the lovely villages and towns. The history is always fascinating, the old pubs usually a delight and I will look forward to my next visit as there is always something new to see. The weather we had was a mixed bag so we didn't get wet and cold at all and enjoyed a fair bit of sunshine. So. yesterday we flew out of Gatwick to Turkey and arrived at Fethiye at 10pm, caught up with Martin and Viv and the good ship Therapy and also Steph and Robin who have to leave today which is a shame. It is so nice to be back here so I am looking forward to spending a lot of time in the pool, working on the tan and being lazy. So I will catch up later. Pip/Rod
