Carved into the rock, this amphitheatre was in remarkably good nick.

Having scrambled up many stairs, even this massive building looked puny.

This rocky room had a clever ventilation and view feature.

This climb took us to a small cavern with a water supply bubbling out. Amazing. Supposedly TE Lawrence's water supply - and a few others we would imagine.

I know exactly what u mean when u thought the guy would go all egyptian on u. my gf and i were in egypt before going to Jordan and everyone wanted a tip for every stupid thing! Jordan, the people were so much more accomadating and honest.
