Outside one of the many shops Jerusalem
Yesterday, we went back the Jerusalem. We walked through the streets filled with people selling or buying goods.
After that, we went to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The church used to be dedicated to the Greek Goddess Aphrodite in 2nd Century B.C. The bible says this is where Jesus was crucified on the cross and buried.
We wanted to go into the tomb (where Jesus was believed to have risen from the dead), but the line was a couple of hours long.
We then went to the Israel museum. There were lots of amazing artifacts there including: the Dead Sea scrolls, Egyptian canopic jars, and Greek urns.

What a place!
So awesome to be walking on such revered earth! I'm wondering about the sounds you encountered there, and the smells? What does the air feel like?
