If you appreciate history, DON'T miss S. Denis, if in Il de France. Most underrated place. Site of the Basilica of St. Denis, where the coronation of the queens of France took place (kings were coronated in Reims, but they did not want to travel that far for queens)

Also, it's the burial place of the kings and queens of France. Although it was desecrated during the revolution, it was reconstructed and is quite worth a visit.

It's a fearful thing, but I admit I have become a comfort creature, I like my surroundings, coffee done a certain way, pecking away at the puter, taking dogs on an outing and all. Oh I miss them when I'm gone. And it's true, that 2 days into the trip, it is possible that I would wish I could snap my fingers and be back home. actually some of the bodies looked so life like, I wondered if I hadn't run into 'em back in Chicago
