Trip frpm Madrid to Seville on Renfa Train took approx 2.5 hours. Lovely open feel here. It feels more Spanish in style and the people seem nicer. Long walks throughout the day alongside the Rio Guadalquivir. Hotel Esperia sevilla was good. Quite central prob 20 to 30 mins to walk to main centre. Lots to see and do but not enough time to do it. Lovely meal in the evening in local Plaza (square) bakes had her Doradora which apparently is bream and loved it. I just had a baby lamb......well leg of at least......Yummy. fig dessert and ice cream on way home. Walking home after 12 midnight and young girls walking alone on their mobiles etc.....feels so wonderfully safe in Seville. Still struggling with bloody cough and chest infection. Am going to buy antibiotics soon as we arrive in Jerez. Got taxi from seville station to hotel - so much easier than walking like we have been doing. You do get to find your way around better though.?
